Onto the article...Have you been looking for an exercise regime but can’t seem to find one that sticks? If you’re anything like me, you’ve tried a hundred different exercise plans or trends and hated almost all of them, but not this time. The Rogue Echo bike makes it easy for me to get the exercise I need within the comfort of my own home.
The Rogue Echo Bike is built for at home or the gym. If you are new to at-home exercise or a fan bike pro, the cardo options and customization offered by the Rogue Echo Bike can suit any need. The Rogue Echo Bike is popular at gyms and fitness centers because it is easy to move around and sturdy enough to handle high-intensity use, this makes it ideal for home use as well.
If you are looking for a great, high-intensity cardio workout, this bike will make a great addition to your home gym.
Features and Benefits of the Rogue Echo Bike
The Rogue Echo Bike is a fan bike, which means you are in complete control of your workout. Using air as resistance, the Echo Bike has no finicky settings or buttons to push. Just hop on and pedal. The faster you pedal, the more resistance there will be, which makes this the perfect tool for both starting your exercise regime and keeping up with it as you get stronger.
Fan bikes like the Rogue Echo Bike offer a great cardio workout. They can help you lose weight and burn fat. They offer a low-impact option for those of us that can’t run all day on a treadmill. Not only that, but stationary bikes are also much safer for those of us that live in busy cities.
It’s much easier to hop on my bike in my apartment than it would be to use a road bike. The interval training offered on the Echo Bike is great for a HIIT workout, burning more calories in less time. It works out the muscles in your lower body, targeting the calves, hamstrings, and quadriceps, but can also strengthen your core, back, and glutes making it an important part of your total body workout.
Special Features (Pros) of the Rogue Echo Bike
- Made with heavy-duty steel, this fan bike is strong enough for a high-intensity workout without the wobble that many at-home exercise bikes can have.
- Easy assembly and portability with step-by-step guidelines and 1″ wide polyurethane wheels which make it easy to move your Echo Bike around as often as you need.
- LCD Console with heart rate tracking, interval training, or target training makes it easy to set your goals and work out your way.
- Easily Adjustable for people of any size and for sharing with those in your household. You’ll be able to set up the Echo Bike to your size every time you need it.
Drawbacks (Cons) of Rogue Echo Bike
While the Rogue Echo Bike has great features, it does have some drawbacks, as all products do. For instance, the Rogue Echo Bike is not the cheapest fan bike on the market. It is not the most expensive, either. However, for those looking for a budget option, this might not be the right fit. You certainly get what you pay for with a stationary bike, and the construction and durability of the Echo Bike make the price warranted.
Additionally, it has a fairly sizable footprint in the home. The bike itself is not compact but again this lends to the durability and stable feel of the Echo Bike. If you have enough space in your home for all 59 by 29 inches of the Echo Bike, it will be a well-used space.
So, Is the Echo bike a good workout?
The answer is definitely. Since the bike works by resisting your efforts, you can make this the hardest or easiest workout for yourself. It is a great bike for recovery and to push yourself to the limit in a HIIT-style interval workout.
I highly recommend adding interval training to any workout. The high-intensity cardio is good for burning calories, and the quick turnaround ensures I don’t get bored with my workout routine.
What is the difference between an Echo bike and an Assault bike?
The Assault Bike (see my Assault Airbike review) has been a long-standing favorite for CrossFit athletes, but the Assault bike uses a chain drive system while the Rogue Echo Bike uses the newer belt drive system. The belt drive makes for a smoother ride.
The Rogue Echo Bike is slightly heavier and larger than its competitor, but the weight and size ensure it can stand up to the most grueling, intense workouts. Overall, the Rogue Echo Bike has blown its competitors away and taken over as the newest standard in air bikes.
