Hey it’s Chris. Some of the links on this page may be sponsored - it helps keep the blog going. Cool?
Oh one more thing, if you're a guy looking to get ripped 6-pack abs or a woman looking to get a lean toned stomach, I just put together a killer workout called the "Dirty Dozen" ab workout. Click here to get your free PDF copy..
Onto the article...You wouldn’t think a Hollywood A-list guy would use an “exercise tape” to get into fighting shape for his next role.
However, when it comes to P90X, even Ashton Kutcher came away pretty impressed…
No, he did not buy the company (Beachbody), but Kutcher does admit to popping in the tapes prior to shooting the action-comedy “Killers”, opposite co-star Katherine Heigl.
The “Punked” creator credits P90X’s high-impact cardio, yoga, and circuit training routines for improving his fitness and allowing him to better develop his martial arts skills.
“I bought one of those DVDs off the TV — those exercise tapes. And I put it in and watched it and got in shape. I did some fight training. I learned Krav Maga, Muay Thai, and Kali, which is a Filipino knife fighting.”
Kutcher even admits to performing P90X “two a days” – not quite recommended practice, but you have to admire his motivation and desire for getting into great shape.
Collider.com even reported that Kutcher accidentally knocked out a stuntman on the “Killers” set:
“We were doing that scene on the boat, and we were on a yacht in the wind. He threw a punch and I blocked it, and then punched him and knocked him out. I felt really bad about that. And then, I kicked Rob [Riggle] in the face. I hurt a lot of people. I should have just let the stunt guy do everything, to be honest, and stuck to just making jokes.”
The moral of the story? You don’t have to hire a high-priced fitness trainer to get that “Killer” celebrity body. If P90X is good enough for Hollywood stars like Ashton Kutcher (and Demi Moore) isn’t it about time you check out P90X for yourself?
