Onto the article...When you are working out, what kind of body are you going for?
Men usually want well-defined muscles and a well-proportioned body — and that doesn’t ever happen by accident.
It requires a training program that is well-designed and that will DELIVER on those goals. Visual Impact Muscle Building promises to give you the path to defined and lean muscles.
Rusty Moore, the creator of the Visual Impact Muscle Building program, has programs that work for both men and women.
Today I’m going to review his original program – Visual Impact Muscle Building – which is primarily aimed at men who want to gain muscle and get cut.
Note: if you’re a woman I highly recommend his Visual Impact for Women program, which you can learn more about here (see my full Visual Impact for Women review here).
Overview of My Visual Impact Muscle Building Review
I’ve gone through this course in detail, and there are parts that are particularly helpful to gaining a ripped, muscular (but not fluffy or puffy) , physique. I’ll tell you more about that shortly.
In this review you’ll discover:
- The Pros and Cons of Visual Impact Muscle Building
- The Key Features of the Program
- Visual Muscle Building Video Results
- Ratings for:
- Ease of Use
- Features
- Customer Service
- Value for Money
Let’s go ahead and dive into it and see if this is the right program for you.
Pros of Visual Impact Muscle Building
One of the things that I like best about Rusty’s programs is that he stays away from what he calls “fluffy” muscle building — building muscles that look flabby and actually aren’t all that strong. He also stays away from what I like to call “meathead muscle building”.
Instead, his programs focus on muscle gains that give you a lean, well-defined body – with great biceps and abs as well as lower body muscles so that you don’t look like a top-heavy muscle meathead. This is the type of muscle building that is more functional and attractive to women.
Exercise Principles: There are COUNTLESS programs on the market that give you a workout program, but don’t tell you WHY you are doing what you’re doing. Visual Impact Muscle Building gives you the theory behind the practice. I find that this helps to keep me motivated and on track.
Phased Workouts: A full set of BALANCED and phased workouts that are specifically designed to help men make significant muscle gains with muscles that are WELL DEFINED and not “fluffy.”
Exercise Demonstrations: One of the outstanding items in Visual Impact Muscle Building is the over 200 page e-book containing detailed explanations and pictures of how to do each exercise. You will never get bored again!
Printable Workout Charts: This seems simple, but it makes working out SO MUCH EASIER. These printable charts provide an easy reference so that you can stay on track with your workout.
Facebook Group: I always find it helpful to be with other people who are on the same journey I’m on. The Facebook group does that for you and Rusty is there on a regular basis answering questions and helping people along in their gains.
Cons of Visual Impact Muscle Building
No Videos: This isn’t a big deal for me, because I don’t particularly like watching videos while I’m working out, but some people do. If you are looking for video workouts you may want to check out Athlean X.
No Meal Plan: There is a module on eating in the course, but it’s not really a meal plan – more like this is what works and what doesn’t. With that said, Rusty Moore does have a meal plan that he sells separately called High Carb Fat Loss – which is really good.
TIP: Because the price of Visual Impact Muscle Building and High Carb Fat Loss is so reasonable, you could pick up both for less than the cost of most other programs.

Visual Muscle Building Ratings
- Ease of Use: 5/5 – Rusty presents the material in a very straightforward, thorough, and easy to use format.
- Features: 4.5/5 – Some people may miss video instruction, but the workouts are complete, detailed, and effective.
- Customer Service: 4/5 – Visual Impact Fitness is GREAT at answering their emails and they have a Facebook group for members, but there isn’t a phone number readily available.
- Value for Money: 5/5 – I would rate that even higher if I could. Visual Impact Fitness is an INCREDIBLE value for the money.
The Bottom Line on Visual Impact Fitness
If you are looking to get an “Instagram-worthy” body, then this is a GREAT program to follow. The workouts are intense but doable and most importantly Rusty knows what he’s talking about.
The only real downside is that there isn’t video instruction. I actually prefer this, because I don’t like watching videos while working out. Plus you can always look up how to do a particular exercise for free on YouTube and this probably is part of why Rusty can make the program so affordable.
Overall, Visual Impact Fitness is a great value for the money and is one of my favorite muscle building programs on the market today.
