If you’ve ever done a ton of “traditional” ab exercises like crunches and sit-ups then you know they don’t always give you the sleek look you desire.
Usually, women want flat and feminine abs and men want a chiseled six-pack. The Specforce Abs program promises to be able to deliver on BOTH goals.
Funny Aside: When this program FIRST came to my attention, I kept reading it as “Spaceforce Abs” and I thought it was a weird name. Specforce (the real name) comes from the fact that these exercises come from Special Forces training.

Who Is Specforce Abs For?
Specforce Abs will work best for people who are already in pretty good shape and want to develop lean, strong, and sculpted abs.
It’s also good for people who want to develop strong, functional, and a protective core. If you have good core strength it can protect your back and body from injury.
If you have more than 20 pounds to lose and want to see visible results you are better off with a program like the High Carb, Low Fat diet by Rusty Moore. You can either do Specforce Abs at the same time or add them on later.
It’s hard to see results with ab workouts of any kind unless you already have fairly low body fat.
Pros of Specforce Abs
Focuses on function: One of the things that impresses me most about this program is its focus on function. The beautiful look comes as a side effect of that. That means that using the exercises in Specforce Abs you will develop a strong and functional core that can help you not only look great but stay healthy.
Five ab training factors: These include: abdominal armoring, asset stacking, fixed angel contraction, TQ work ups, and strategic target selection.
Ditching the traditional methods: Traditional ab training methods, like crunches, can give you good looking abs but they also tend to make you thick around the middle. This program focuses on methods developed in the Canadian Special Force that give you a physical edge and a lean and strong look.
Works all three abdominal fields: In order to get healthy abs that also look good you need to work all three abdominal groups – the rectus abdominis, the obliques, and the often forgotten posterior chain. This program does that better than most.
Cons of Specforce Abs
The six week promise: This is right in the headline of the salespage. And it’s an overpromise if you aren’t already fairly fit. In order to get lean and sculpted abs that are VISIBLE you have to have fairly low body fat.
Abs only focus: I honestly wasn’t sure whether to put this in the pros or cons section. Because where it fits depends on what you are looking for. If you are in good shape and want a solid abs only workout program then it’s a good fit. But there are many other high quality full body programs on the market for that are a similar price.
The Key Features of the Program
This program includes core features and some useful bonuses. When you purchase it (available here) you’ll get:
- Specforce Abs (you specify for men or for women)
- The Fix and Flatten guide – 7 day gut health protocol
- The Blue Jeans Perfect Butt Solution
Video of a Specforce Abs Workout
This is a great video demo of some of the exercises in the Specforce Abs plan. You’ll see how different they are from “traditional” ab workouts.
Specforce Abs Guarantee
Specforce Abs comes with a 60-day guarantee. This gives you an opportunity to try the program risk-free so the is really nothing to lose.
Specforce Abs Ratings
- Ease of Use: 4/5 – I would love to see videos included in this training, but even without them the instructions are clear and easy to use.
- Features 4/5 – For an abs only training (with bonus butt materials) this has everything you need. But there are other high-quality full-body workouts on the market for the same price.
- Customer Service 4/5 – Customer service is by email. There is no phone number.
- Value for the Money 4/5 – This provides a solid and balanced abs workout that will give you great function and good looking abs as long as you apply it.
The Bottom Line on Specforce Abs
If you are looking for a program specifically to sculpt your abs or give you functional core fitness, Specforce Abs is definitely worth a try.
To get the six-pack abs you do need to have fairly low body fat. If you want to or need to lose weight first or while doing Specforce Abs, I recommend the High Carb Fat Loss by Rusty Moore.
